Bio
Stephanie Titus is a pianist and advocate for contemporary music and new music by living composers. As a sought-after collaborator, she has performed a wide variety of chamber ensemble works. Solo repertoire projects includes the complete solo piano works of Takemitsu, Boulez’s Piano Sonata No. 2, and Messiaen’s Vingt Regards sur l’enfant-Jésus. Dr. Titus has earned masters degrees in Piano Performance (M.M.) and Pedagogy of Theory (M.A.) from the Eastman School of Music and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Contemporary Music - Piano Performance at Bowling Green State University. She teaches privately in the Northwest Ohio region and is highly sought-after as a collaborative pianist, currently serving as the instrumental accompanist at University of Findlay. Previous university teaching appointments include Bluffton University (Bluffton, OH) and Simpson College (Indianola, IA). She currently serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music at Bowling Green State University where she teaches applied piano and music theory. Complete CV available upon request. |
